Beginning this Saturday, November 18, 2017, Grants.gov will add improvements to funding opportunity subscription management, Grants.gov account registration, and Workspace. The website will be back up on November 20th.
Release 16.1’s Workspace enhancements will, among other things, improve form copy functionality—this feature allows you to copy previous Workspace forms into another Workspace to save time on filling out those forms. Here are the specifics:
- Add Copy Workspace feature to copy all relevant forms from existing Workspace (this will appear on the Manage Workspaces page)
- Expand Create Workspace feature to copy all relevant forms from existing Workspace
- Expand Form Reuse feature to copy across form versions. Currently, you may only copy the exact version of a form. With Release 16.1, you will be able to copy older versions of a form into a new one.
There are other enhancements to Workspace, such as a clear label for “Read-Only” forms in Workspace and the ability to create a workspace quickly using a Funding Opportunity Number (FON) or package ID.
