We’re Listening: Updates Coming Soon to Opportunity Forecast Listings on Grants.gov

In the coming weeks, in this space and on Twitter, we will be highlighting upcoming updates to Grants.gov and the Grants.gov Mobile App (iOS | Android).

Many of the upcoming enhancements – scheduled to arrive on March 18 – are being developed, in part, because of user feedback.

One such enhancement will bring improvements in how opportunity forecasts are identified on Grants.gov.

Some users have had difficulty quickly identifying which opportunities are forecasted.

Coming soon to Opportunity Forecasts on Grants.gov

In March, Grants.gov will make the following changes so that Forecasts stand out more clearly:

  • Page titles will include the word “Forecast”.
  • A notice will be added on the Forecast tab, reading, “NOTE: This is a forecasted opportunity.”
  • Some forecast field titles will be renamed.

This is just one among several enhancements Grants.gov is making in March. Stay tuned to this blog and to our Twitter feed for more release previews in the coming weeks.
